Golden milk


Ingredients

  • 2 cups full fat dairy, almond or coconut milk

  • 1 stick cinnamon

  • 2 inches fresh turmeric sliced or 1 tsp. ground turmeric spice

  • 1 inch fresh sliced ginger

  • Pinch black pepper

  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup or honey 


DIRECTIONS

  1. Place milk, cinnamon stick, turmeric, and ginger in a small saucepan.

  2. Heat well, by stirring continuously, until warm.

  3. Strain the milk to your cups.

  4. Add in maple syrup, honey, or any other sweetener.

  5. Sprinkle some ground cinnamon and serve!
